**Registrations for the 2021 intake close this week**
Have you ever considered volunteering? More specifically, have you ever thought about SES volunteering?
Well if you have, then now is the time to throw your hat into the ring, and find out a bit more about it.
Applications for this years intake at Northshore SES, based in Mount Hawthorn, close very soon.
Due to our high volunteer retention rate, new member intakes at the Northshore SES unit are only held once a year.
If you would like to come along to the 2021 information night then please lodge your details immediately by using the ‘join us’ form on the website.
Lodging your details will get you an invite to our upcoming information night.
The information nights offer a brief but honest insight into what SES volunteers really do and what the requirements and commitments will be. You will get the chance to tour the Northshore unit, to meet existing members, and to ask any questions. There are ‘no strings attached’ to coming along – if you decide that you would like to apply, then you complete an application form. If you decide that the SES is not for you then that is absolutely fine!
If you application is considered acceptable, then you will be required to attend (the following week) for a 15 / 20 minute face to face chat. Once again, no strings attached. It is just a final opportunity to make sure that you know everything that you need to know.
Please note that current membership levels (at the time of the information night) will specifically dictate the numbers of places available and the number of places offered.
