The  Northshore volunteers

Volunteers are critical to the entire SES organisation, and the Northshore unit is no different. Without volunteers we would not exist and could not answer emergency calls.

The vast majority of all SES personnel are volunteers, dedicated, able and willing to give up their free time in order to help others during their times of need.

We currently restrict our membership numbers to approximatley 60.  This ensures that we have the training resources to maintin an effective and exciting training program - critical to ensuring member retention. This also ensures that we have the numbers to maintain an operational baseline of about 45 members, thereby virtually guaranteing our ability to raise a callout team 24 hours, 7 days a week.

Links to short interviews (by clicking on the main links above) are availlable from some of our members, giving you the chance to get to know a little about them, what they do for the SES, and why they enjoy doing it.
