Joining the Northshore SES unit

Interested in becoming an SES volunteer?

We are always keen to hear from potential new members.

Please note however that waiting lists are currently in operation.

New member induction nights are currently held once or twice yearly. If you would like to come along to the next induction event then please lodge your details by using the form below. Once a date has been set for the next induction night, you will recieve an invitiation to attend where you can meet other members and have a look around the unit. There are no strings attached with coming to have a look around.

** Next induction commences 15th September 2010 - Registrations now being taken**

If you decide that you would like to apply to join, then great. Membership levels at the time will dictate the numbers of places available. Assuming your application is accepted, then after completing the induction workbook you become a probationer and get to join the regular training with other members, immediately starting to build up your individual competencies.  Assuming you pass your probationary period, then you will be appointed a full member and will be ready for callouts before you know it.
As expected, the huge variance of employment and family situations with members dictates when they may be available for training and callouts - each member advises their typical availability on the main callout list, but in the end, there is no obligation. If you are just not available for training or for a callout, then you just let us know - we will understand.
If you have any queries whatsoever about the Northshore SES team, then please contact our enquiries officer using the form below.

To register to attend the next available induction night, then please contact our membership officer using the form below.

Should the below contact form not be working, or in case you would prefer to email us directly, then you can contact us at membership@northshoreses.com.au

We will respond to your query as soon as we can.
