SES carry out finger-tip search of Haig Street home
The Northshore SES unit have again been called into action in relation to the recent murder of 27 year-old Tuart Hill man Alessio Di Risio.
Police had secured a property in Haig Street, Tuart Hill on Sunday morning, after an alleged offender contacted police and was taken into custody. Residents on Haig Street awoke to a police presence after their quiet street was closed between Banksia and French streets.
A second man was subsequently taken into police custody today after detectives and forensic police spent the day at a Haig Street property. One of the men has now been charged with murder. Another is still being questioned by police.
Yesterday, SES teams from Northshore were on-site at the Haig Street property to carry out a finger-tip search of the grounds.
Immediately after the murder, dozens of SES volunteers conducted a widescale search of the local area area in an attempt to find the murder weapon.
